Roan van de Moosdijk about his heat victory!
Last Sunday, Roan van de Moosdijk managed to write history for himself and the F&H Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team. Both managed to win a Grand Prix round for the first time! The Eindhoven native finished second in the third Lommel GP, which resulted in his fifth podium place of the year. After more than four years, another moto victory for Kawasaki, the last one dating from July 24, 201 when Dylan Ferrandis won both motos in Loket. Van de Moosdijk talks about Lommel 3 here.
Roan van de Moosdijk “I am of course very happy with this victory. The first heat went quite well until I started experiencing hard forearms after about ten minutes. I had to do everything I could to finish sixth. In the second moto the start was much better and I came out of the first corner in second position. Vialle took over second place, but I quickly managed to get it back. When Jago made a mistake he was given the lead and that was difficult and especially difficult. Fortunately, I was able to maintain a high pace quite quickly, which kept my lead increasing. I am very happy with the victory and the fifth podium place this year. I would like to thank the F&H Kawasaki MX2 Racing Team as well as our sponsors, Monster Energy and my family.”
