Palsson wins the first round, Bonacorsi secures the title!
In a windy Lommel, Max Palsson won the first heat of the final of the European 125c Championship. The Swede made a great start together with Scott Smulders and the KTM rider never relinquished the lead. Meico Vettik tried everything to take the lead but without success. Andrea Bonacorsi finished third and the Fantic rider secured the title. Pietro Razzini does well again with fourth place, followed by CreyMert Racing driver Hakon Osterhagen.
After his fastest time in his group, Ivano van Erp does well during the first heat. The Ossenaar crosses the finish line in seventh place, making him the best Dutchman. Smulders crosses the finish line tenth, Cas Valk (19th) takes two points. Unfortunately, the other Lowlanders did not score.
