Kjer Olsen and Beaton remain positive after Lommel 1
Lommel 1 did not go completely smoothly for Rockstar Energy-Husqvarna-Nestan Team MX2. Still, Thomas Kjer Olsen and Jed Beaton remain positive. The duo looks back on the thirteenth GP of the season, but also looks at the competitions to come.
Thomas Kjer Olsen: “The track was very tough today. I often train here, but this is not comparable to now. It's the same for everyone and I think it made for a better race because you now had to drive really accurately and think about your lines. I have a good feeling for the next two games and I am positive to get better results. Obviously the track will be difficult and tough but I feel good about riding in the second moto. I was able to play with the bike and have fun."
Jed Beaton: “It wasn't the greatest day for me but we have two more games here which makes it a consistent start to the week. I didn't get a good start in both motos and that didn't help me, but we will be better on Wednesday. In the first heat it took me a long time to find the right rhythm, but after twenty minutes I found the rhythm and it felt good. I was too late to move up many places. In the second heat I immediately felt better on the track and I rode a smart race. I know what to expect for the next two matches and I will prepare well for the match on Wednesday!''
