Kawasaki on top in Thunder Valley's AMA 450 National
The AMA 450 National of Thunder Valley has just concluded and it came with a third place in the first heat and a heat win in the second heat, won by Eli Tomac. With this result, the 450 AMA 2019 Motocross Champion stayed ahead of his teammate Adam Cianciarulo who… just achieved the same result but in reverse order. However, you know that the last series is decisive in the event of equal points, and so Adam Cianciarulo got the short end of the stick in this 'deal'.
Eli Tomac and Adam Cianciarulo both scored 45 points, putting the men five points ahead of Zach Osborne, who claimed third place on the day's podium with a fourth and second place. Zach Osborne also remains the leader in the championship. The Husqvarna pilot has about twenty-four points more than Adam Cianciarulo, with one race to go and 50 points to score. A pleasant starting position for Zach Osborne, but nothing has yet been enshrined in the history books, so anything can still happen... Just think of Christophe Pourcel who once lost a title in extremis to Trey Canard.
