Glenn Coldenhoff looks back on Mantova 3
During two of the three races on the Mantova circuit, Glenn Coldenhoff was allowed to climb onto the podium. The 29-year-old Brabander finished third last Sunday behind Tim Gajser and Antonio Cairoli. Here on MXMag, 'The Hoff' looks back on the race together with teammate Ivo Monticelli.
Glenn Coldenhoff:
“It always feels good to be on stage. I wanted to be on the top step and I think with better starts it should be possible. I'm very happy with my first moto. I had some good lines and it all came together towards the end of the match. At the finish I was very close behind the leader. This is a good result but we always want more. We are going to work hard this week on the starts so that we are ready in Spain."
Ivo Monticelli:
“It was a positive day for me. During the timed training I was on the fastest time and that made for a good start to the day. I felt good on the bike and I was finally able to get a good result in the first moto. I was ready to do the same in the second moto but a crash on the first lap forced me to forget. I came back to eleventh place and my confidence is back. I know I can finish in the top ten and I hope I can continue this in Spain."
