Evans misses MXGP race 2 with wrist injury
Team HRC Honda's Mitch Evans will no longer start in the second MXGP race. The fast Australian suffered an injury to his left wrist in the first moto. At the time, Evans was fourth.
The Australian misjudged a landing and got into trouble, ending up off the runway. A bad ending for Evans' Spanish GP. Mitch qualified strongly in third and seemed to be in great shape in Arroyolomolinos.
Last weekend, Evans finished joint fifth in the MXGP of Europe in Mantova. The Honda CRF450RW rider will now undergo further medical examination to determine the extent of his injury. Depending on that, his schedule for the rest of the season will be determined.
