Cyril Genot looks back on disappointing GP
With a fourteenth place, Cyril Genot does not look back with satisfaction on the first of three Grand Prix on the Lommel circuit. After a great fifth training time, the Yamaha rider naturally expected more on 'Circuit Heeserbergen'. Here on MXMag he tells his story.
“Today it's a huge disappointment! The speed was good, which was already evident in the timed training, but the races were a disappointment. We work day and night for this, but time and time again it is mechanical failure that takes us out of the race. I must thank a small circle of people around me for their support, trust and hard work. This also applies to my family, girlfriend and personal sponsors. Without those people it is impossible for me to participate in the Motocross World Championship. They work so much and hopefully I can pay that back this season with great results starting next Wednesday.”
