Bonacorsi wins, Van Erp scores his best of the season!
By finishing second in both heats, Andrea Bonacorsi has won the sixth race of the European 125cc Championship. The Fantic rider wins in Arroyomolinos ahead of Meico Vettik (1-5) and David Braceras (3-3). Ivano van Erp scores a great eighth place in the second round! The first moto the Yamaha rider finished 15th. Kay Karssemakers also scores both heats, the Boxtel native finishes 16th and 12th. In the title fight, Bonacorsi increases his lead, he is now 42 points ahead of Veittik.

In the first round, Vettik takes the best start ahead of Bonacorsi and Guillem Farres, who started from pole. The Fantic rider hits Vettik's rear wheel as he exits the first corner. As a result, the leader has to slow down and sees Farres pass. However, in the second corner the GasGas rider makes a mistake and falls! This allows Bonacorsi to regain second place, but Vettik quickly manages to build up a three-second lead. The 17-year-old KTM rider manages to hold the lead throughout the entire race. When the 25 minutes of the race are over, Bonacorsi arrives. The also 17-year-old rider is still dangerous but cannot take over the lead. Vettik wins the first heat, just like last week in Mantova. Bonacorsi follows ahead of RFME rider David Braceras and Max Palsson. The Swede makes it difficult for the GasGas driver, but he doesn't bend! Last week's winner, Valerio Lata completes the top five. Van Erp (15th) and Karssemakers (16th) are in the points.
2e some
After ninth place in the first moto, Andrea Roncoli has completely different plans for the second moto. The Italian makes the best start ahead of Van Erp and Braceras. The Spaniard quickly managed to take over second place from the Ossenaar, who also saw Bonacorsi pass a little later. Roncoli has the race under control at the front and he no longer sees his established lead in danger. Braceras is put under pressure by Bonacorsi in the first fifteen minutes, but he then makes a mistake. The rider from Bergmo comes back and manages to take over second place. Braceras is third again but he has to work hard to stay ahead of Prugnieres and Vettik. Vettik in particular makes his mark because he only finished fifteenth in the first round. Van Erp manages to cross the finish line in eighth place, while his MJC colleague Karssemakers scores in twelfth place.
There are three more races scheduled for the EMX125, all of which will be held on the Lommel circuit!
