Benistant wins, six Dutchmen score points!
The leader in the European 250cc Championship won the first round in Lommel during the tenth race of this championship. Thibault Benistant made the best start and took his sixth moto win of the season. Mattia Guadagnini sees his deficit increase to 21 points. Hakon Fredriksen crosses the finish line in third place ahead of Jorgen-Matthias Talviku and Kay de Wolf, who makes a mistake in the first lap and has to work his way back. Marcel Conijn celebrates his 21st birthday earlier this week with a seventh place ahead of TBS driver Rick Elzinga.
Other Dutch people in the points are Twan van Essen (13th), Jens Walvoort (19th) and Kjeld Stuurman (20th).
