Artem Guryev has to miss MXGP Trentino
In consultation with his team, JM Honda Racing, Artem Guryev (24) has decided not to participate in the final MXGP triple header in Trentino. Successive injuries and the short recovery time in between have taken their toll on the former Russian MX2 vice-champion.
Artem was not 100% fit prior to the three GPs in Lommel. However, in the last heat last Sunday he crashed again. “I hurt my wrist quite badly and trying to keep up with the other riders while you are still recovering is certainly not the best option. That is why we have decided not to participate in the competitions in Pietramurata.”
JM Honda Racing heads to Italy with Dylan Walsh and Benoit Paturel where the first round will be held at the Arco di Trento circuit on Sunday, November 1.
