Amandine Verstappen tests positive for Covid-19
Things are not going well for the fastest Belgian motocross lady this year. Yesterday she announced via social media that she tested positive for Covid-19. Fortunately, she has no alarming symptoms, but traveling to the MXGP in Trentino is not an option.
This weekend there is the final of the WMX in Trentino, but Verstappen will not be able to attend. Amandine suffered a wrist injury earlier this year, making this a season to quickly forget. The battle for the world title in this class will be extremely exciting in Italy. Only 10 points separate Nancy Van De Ven, Courtney Duncan, Larissa Papenmeier and Kiara Fontanesi.
