Cas Valk looks back on his first EMX125 season
In his first season in the European 125cc Championship, Cas Valk finished nineteenth in the final standings. It was not an easy season for anyone, especially for a debutant. Valk looks back on the final of the EMX125 and his first season at the highest level.
Cas Valk: “Just like the previous match, it was a difficult day. Finally, only Lommel 1 went well, but fortunately I managed to score in the other matches. A nineteenth and thirteenth place during the heats is not something to be satisfied with. Of course it was a strange season, but that's the same for everyone. At the beginning of the year I was still recovering from a pelvic injury. Then everything came to a standstill and then three races in eight days were held. Despite everything, we were still able to achieve some very nice results, such as in Mantova and here in Lommel. With a nineteenth place in the final standings, I look back with satisfaction and expect to be able to grow further next season.”
