Ben Watson to Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP!
Despite rumors that Ben Watson would switch to Kawasaki or even leave for the USA, there is good news. The Brit has extended his contract with Yamaha and will become Jeremy Seewer's teammate. Watson has already been active for Yamaha for the past three seasons, but in the colors of KEMEA Racing.
The 23-year-old rider must switch to the MXGP due to the age rule that applies in the FIM MX2 World Championship. We do not know whether Watson's arrival means that the deal with Glenn Coldenhoff will not go ahead. It is of course also possible that Louis Vosters' team will continue to consist of three drivers.
