Bonacorsi again, Smulders scores two points
The first heat during the fourth race of the European 125cc Championship was won by Andrea Bonicorsi. The Fantic rider won ahead of Guillem Farres and Piietro Razzini. With a fourth place, 85cc World Champion Valerio Lata did very well, the German Constantin Piller completed the top five. Scott Smulders (photo) scored two points by finishing nineteenth. Cas Valk (24th), Junior Bal (32nd) and Ivano van Erp (DNF) did not score in Faenza.
