Tixier beats Vandoninck in Grevenboirch
The first race of the ADAC MX Masters will be held on the sand circuit of Grevenboirch this weekend. Because this championship consists of only two races, it was decided to compete in three heats per event! The first heats were held today, tomorrow all classes will compete twice more. Jordi Tixier (photo) managed to win the first heat after he managed to catch up with fast starter Brent Vandonick. The Husqvarna rider finished second ahead of Henry Jacobi. Jérémy Delincé finished sixth and Jeffrey Dewulf managed to cross the finish line in tenth, just ahead of Bas Vaessen on the SX250F.
In the Youngster Cup, Jörgen-Matthias Talviku wins after Rick Elzinga made a mistake as leader. The TBS rider crosses the finish line in tenth place. Sander Hofstede crosses the finish line in 18th place and scores three points! Jarni Kooij (26th) and Romain Delbrassinne (37th) do not score. We see no Dutch or Belgians in action in the 125cc class. Martin Venhoda wins and that is a Belgian success because he competes for Team NR83-KTM. In the lightest class, the Czech Julius Mikula wins ahead of Bradley Mesters and Maximilian Werner. Lotte van Drunen (5th), Gyan Doensen (7th), Levi Schrik (12th) and Charlie van Nieuwland (16th) are also in the points. Maxime Lucas crosses the finish line in 23rd place.
