Mattia Guadagnini beats Benistant, De Wolf ninth
In Mantova, Mattia Guadagnini won the first round of the sixth race of the European 250cc Championship. The Maddii Racing rider won ahead of Yamaha riders Thibault Benistant and Hakon Fredriksen. Year-old Kay de Wolf had problems in the initial phase and he has to work his way back. The Eersel resident still comes ninth! Marcel Conijn scores well with eleventh place, there are no points for Twan van Essen (23rd), Jens Walvoort (31st), Kjell Verbruggen (DNF) and Rick Elzinga (DNF).
