International podium in the MX2 youth class
The second race in the MX2 youth class of the Motorsport Organization Netherlands was held at the Reulsberg circuit in Horst. In the Limburg sand the victory went to Konrad Fuchs. The German had to lose to Floris van Gremberghe in the first round, after a direct duel. In the second moto he took advantage of a bad start by the Dutchman and won the moto with a wide lead.
Van Gremberghe managed to get back to second place in the second moto, but then had to drop his pace slightly and also finished second in the daily classification. Travis Passaretti (Bel) led a few laps in the second moto, but saw both Konrad and van Gremberghe pass him halfway through the moto and had to settle for third place again, just like in the first moto. This earned him third place in the daily rankings and he is now alone in the lead in the standings.
