Hakon Osterhagen does not score
After six months, the European 125cc Championship finally continued in Italy. On the sunny Faenza circuit, Hakon Osterhagen defended its fourth place in the standings. Unfortunately, things turned out differently for the Norwegian as he failed to score in both rounds. He therefore drops to eleventh place in the standings. Andrea Bonacorsi managed to win the match, Liam Everts remains the leader in the standings.
EMX125:
After his sixteenth fastest time in qualifying, Hakon was confident for the matches later in the day. The start was not good and when a colleague also crashed in the first corner, it only became more difficult. From thirtieth place, the CreyMert Racing driver has to work his way to the front. After two laps, four places have already been won, but then things go wrong. Hakon crashes and loses no less than ten places. From 36th onwards, places are still being made up, but with a 29th position no points are scored.
Fortunately, the second moto starts better for the FXR-clad rider who starts the race in the midfield. From nineteenth place he tries to find his way forward. The attack on eighteenth place does not go well and Hakon ends up at right angles to the circuit. Fortunately he doesn't fall, but on the steep slope it is difficult to start again. Just outside the points he fights with former EMX65 champion Smulders, but then the Norwegian wants a little too much. He now falls and the match ends prematurely.
