No fracture for Langenfelder, cruciate ligament hit!
During the second Grand Prix at the Faenza circuit, Simon Längenfelder crashed on the first lap with Roan van de Moosdijk and Mikkel Haarup. Initially there was fear of a broken knee, but research in Werneck showed otherwise. Prof. Dr. Christian Hendrich has diagnosed a rupture of the posterior cruciate ligament. The 16-year-old German now has to wear a splint for a month, after which a new examination will follow. With Jeremy Sydow also in the fold, it remains to be seen whether Team Diga Procross-GasGas will deploy replacements in the coming GPs.
