Brenda Wagemans doesn't get a win!
The second match of the season was also scheduled for the women's class in Horst. On the Reulsberg circuit, the battle for the day's victory was between Brenda Wagemans (Bel) and Jenitty van der Beek. After crashing in the first lap, Wagemans was well behind leader Van der Beek and had to come back from the rear. Van der Beek quickly took a big lead. Wagemans passed Kaylee van Dam again in the third lap to come second. Despite two falls, van der Beek's heat victory was no longer in danger and she won the heat with more than 16 seconds ahead of Wagemans.
In the second moto the roles were reversed. Now it was Wagemans who took the lead from the start and van der Beek had a bad start and had to come from the back. Van der Beek drove by far the fastest lap times of all the ladies throughout the heat and passed Van Dam on the sixth lap. Van der Beek continued to record the fastest lap times, but unfortunately for her she did not have enough time left to threaten Wagemans. Wagemans won the heat and, based on the second heat, also won the daily classification ahead of van Beek. Just like in the first heat, it was again Van Dam who crossed the finish line in third place and thus also became third in the daily rankings.
