Eighth world title for Thomas Chareyre
It was a lot of hard work, but Thomas Chareyre has secured his eighth Supermoto world title. The TM rider had to bow to Marc-Reiner Schmidt (photo) in Busca, but the German was one point short of the title! The Honda rider won at the International Circuit of Busca with two wins and a second place. Chareyre (2-1-2) finished second ahead of Austrian Lukas Hollbacher (3-4-3).
