Herlings wins the first round beautifully!
In Faenza, Jeffrey Herlings won the first round for the sixth Grand Prix of the season. The Brabander managed to control a wonderful match in the final phase. The KTM rider won ahead of Jeremy Seewer and 9-time world champion Antonio Cairoli. Jorge Prado seems to be in second place, but in the last lap he makes a mistake and has to settle for fourth place. Gautier Paulin, who achieved his first GP victory here in 2009, completes the top five.
Glenn Coldenhoff crosses the finish line in seventh and Clement Desalle comes in eleventh. Calvin Vlaaderen scores in fourteenth place while Jeremy Vanhorebeek unfortunately does not finish. Brian Bogers will not play, he is banned from starting after a positive COVID-19 test!
