Van de Moosdijk and Boisrame on stage in Axel!
Last week Roan van de Moosdijk was on stage in Arnhem. Last weekend the Kawasaki rider was accompanied in Axel by teammate Mathys Boisrame. The Brabander finished second in both heats ahead of his French teammate. Mikkel Haarup finished fifth in the overall standings.
1st Round
In the first heat Mikkel gets off to a good start. The Dane starts fourth ahead of teammate Mathys. Roan qualified second and narrowly finished in the top ten. The 19-year-old rider can quickly get the right pace and quickly work his way to third place. In the third round, Roan takes second place from Mathys. The management is in the hands of Geerts. He quickly got a nice lead and he doesn't relinquish it. Roan drives the fastest race lap and comes second ahead of Mathys and Mikkel crosses the finish line in fourth.
2st Round
The trio of KX250F riders also performed very well in the second moto. Roan can cross the finish line in second place. The reigning EMX250 champion also manages to record the fastest race lap on the race management computer. Mathys finished third again and Mikkel now finished fifth after a small fall. Roan and Mathys climb onto the RES Axel podium, Mikkel comes fifth behind Rene Hofer with equal points.
Next game:
This weekend is the restart of the Motocross World Championship in Latvia. Then three Grand Prix will be held in eight days on the Kegums circuit.
