Maxime Desprey dominates in Castelnau de Levis
In the first round in Magesq he finished just off the podium. However, reigning French champion Maxime Desprey hit back hard today with a double series victory in Castelnau de Levis. Milko Potisek and Zach Pichon were on the podium in second and third.
Early leader Nicolas Aubin lost out to Desprey in the first series. He took the lead after one lap and never looked back. Behind him, Pichon was in a duel for second place for a long time, but he finally fell back to P4.
In the second series it took a little longer before Desprey took the lead. Yet he was now at least as strong and opened a gap of 10 seconds. Milko Potisek finished second ahead of Pichon and Soubeyras. The Belgian Jeremy Coen did not score any points in Castelnau today.
Going into the third and decisive race of the 24MX tour, Desprey now has a 4-point lead over Potisek.
