LIVE: Jago Geerts on pole in Axel
Last week in Arnhem, Jago Geerts had to leave pole to Roan van de Moosdijk. This time it was a hit! The Monster Energy Yamaha rider was half a second faster than Conrad Mewse this morning, Roan than de Moosdijk, Rene Hofer and Matbhys Boisrame completed the top 5.
Compared to the competition in Arnhem, the field of participants is slightly less strong. Neither Rockstar Energy Husqvarna MX2 (Thomas Kjer Olsen, Jed Beaton Kay De Wolf) nor Geerts' teammate Ben Watson are present in Zeeland today.
Cyril Genot (seventh) and Kjell Verbruggen (ninth) made a good turn. For Liam Everts, the day is all about the switch to the quarter liter. Last weekend he won the International training race in Arnhem in the 125cc, this morning Liamski qualified 15th on his KTM 250 SX-F.
