Jeffrey Herlings wins first round of Axel!
Then Jeffrey Herlings! In his first race since March, Herlings scored immediately. The Red Bull KTM rider just beat Romain Febvre and Jeremy Seewer in Axel. Glenn Coldenhoff had to settle for 4th place.
Immediately a commotion at the start. When he fell, Freek van der Vlist was left lying down. A little later the red flag was shown. The MX88 Motorsport rider injured his knee and had to be taken away. The restart was perfect for Herlings and he turned out to be a bit too strong for the rest.
Ex-MXGP world champion Romain Febvre was 'best of the rest' for Jeremy Seewer and Glenn Coldenhoff.
