Jago Geerts dominates the first round in Axel!
It was Jago Geerts who led the gang. The former youth world champion wasted no time and systematically drove away from the competition. At the finish, Jago had an almost 19(!) second lead over Roan van de Moosdijk.
Van de Moosdijk did not have a top start, but then got into an excellent rhythm. The EMX250 champion set the fastest lap of the race, keeping teammates Mathys Boisramé (third) and Mikkel Haarup (fourth) behind him.
Cyril Genot had a bad start but came back well. However, in the final phase the IXS pilot disappeared from the race. Liam Everts also had to return from the suit. After 30 minutes plus two laps, Liam still finished 11th.
