Dean Ferris successfully operated on his back
Last Wednesday, Dean Ferris underwent surgery for his broken back at Brisbane Hospital. On Saturday, August 8, the three-time Australian Champion had a serious crash at the Connondale circuit. In this crash he suffered back injuries and broken ribs. The operation was successful and Ferris will make a full recovery. It is still unclear when Ferris will be able to get back on the bike, but the chance that it will happen this year is very small.
