Circuit in Lierneux closed indefinitely
The negativity surrounding the motocross circuits in Belgium continues. Today we learned that the circuit in Lierneux has to close indefinitely due to a complaint from a single person. The circuit is located a stone's throw from Baraque Fraiture in the middle of an area where there are no residential houses and therefore no one can be bothered by the engines.
At the beginning of June, our colleagues from MXVintage rented the circuit for a classic car training there. And a few years ago it was the location of a match for the Junior World Cup. Operator André Mathieu indicated today that actions will follow in protest against the closure. Once again it appears that a single person can make life miserable for an entire community.
