WMX: Wrist injury for Amandine Verstappen
The best Belgian WMX rider will have to step aside in the coming weeks. Amandine Verstappen (Bud Racing) suffered a serious fall during training in Navarrenx today. The 21-year-old from Liège broke her right wrist.
Verstappen had to deal with a lot of bad luck during the first 2 GPs. Hopefully she recovers from this injury quickly. “I don't know yet when I will be able to drive again. . We worked hard together with the team to get back to my best level and the last few weeks have been even better than that. But this is also motocross, what a sh*t year. I will come back stronger after this!”
