Not a copy of the Grail
Canyon's Grail has already won many hearts among gravel riders, adventurers and commuters. Yet the Grail:ON is so much more than a Grail with a motor. The design of this new bike is precisely tailored to the world of e-gravel.
Firstly, the longer wheelbase and wide 50mm tires for extra stability when the bike guides you over battered terrain. In addition, the relaxed seating position promotes comfort. Finally, all GraiI:ON models are equipped with one chainring and DT Swiss HG wheels that are specifically made for e-gravel.
Innovative package
The non-motorized Grail CF is an icon in today's gravel environment. Various features to which this groundbreaking bicycle owes its popularity can also be found in the GraiI:ON. The innovative cockpit, better known as the Double-decker Steering Wheel, the flexible VCLS 2.0 seat posts over the super light frame and of course the high volume tires. Furthermore, there is the low weight of less than 16 kg and wide size range from 2XS to 2XL.
In addition, there is also the clean design with which Canyon won the Red Dot Design Award. One look at the Grail:ON and you immediately see that you are dealing with a thoroughbred gravel machine.
Pedaling harder = more support
The Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 provides the motor support for the Grail:0N. This powerful motor, with its high torque and rapid acceleration, was primarily developed for e-mountain biking.
With four support modes — Eco, Tour, Sport and Turbo — riders can switch between light and steady support for long distances, or short and punchy boosts for the steep climbs. The motor has a maximum torque of 85 Nm and offers support tup to 340% of your own pedaling force. In the highest settings, the motor takes on a progressive character: the harder you pedal, the more the motor will give back!
