Arnhem: Series victory assures Coldenhoff of final victory!
The first race of the KNMV training race diptych went to home rider Glenn Coldenhoff. In series one, the GasGas leader narrowly had to give up on Romain Febvre. Despite firm insistence from Febvre and Paulin, “The Hoff” was successful in the revival! Glenn also became the final winner.
Febvre was the fastest away, but Coldenhoff did not wait long. This time, however, the two gamecocks did not drive away from the rest of the field. With Paulin and Jasikonis the top 4 was evenly matched. Although Paulin had stolen second place from compatriot Febvre, the latter would regain the position in the final lap!
Jeremy Van Horebeek repeated his fifth place, which also took him to fifth position in the final standings.
