Technique: this is how you place a bib mousse!
You no longer have to convince the riders who participate in MXGP competitions, they all ride with a foam inner tube. And they all do this for one and the same reason: you can't have a flat tire. You therefore eliminate the risk of losing points.
Installing a foam as an inner tube requires a slightly different method. It starts with a supplied tube. Use this to lubricate the mousse and the inside of the tire. This is necessary to quickly dissipate heat formation in the mousse to the tire. In extreme conditions the mousse would otherwise pulverize due to the build-up of excess heat. You also need sufficient tire levers and the correct working method. You can see that in this video.
