SCOTT Prospect Gold Edition: the return to the stage
With the return of the competition that riders and fans have been waiting for so long, Scott brings other good news, with a nod to the restart of the competitions. After all, 50 years ago Scott made his debut with his first motocross goggles. The Gold Edition celebrates Scott's arrival in motocross and the many victories that are inextricably linked to it.
With the introduction of a special series of the famous glasses from the Swiss manufacturer, the Prospect glasses come in a Gold Edition to return to victory after a long period of inactivity. This new version will enrich the existing Prospect range.
The Prospect frame, the reference at Scott
With 50 years of experience in making motocross goggles, SCOTT is committed to constant development, using the latest techniques and materials, to deliver high-performance products. In 2018, the Prospect was launched with a view to higher comfort and better functionality, but above all with the aim of offering the largest possible field of view on the market.
This could be achieved through a modified architecture of the frame with more height at the top and a lower structure over the nose. The frame frame has a finer structure, because the closer the lens is to the eyes, the larger the field of view. Finally, peripheral vision is also improved by the curved structure of the lens. On the Prospect, SCOTT uses a new lens that is 1 mm thicker and has four fixation points as special features. These go through the lens, so they cannot come loose in the event of a fall. Four notches also make changing easier.
The Prospect frame features adaptive mounts for the elastic band on the frame. They provide a uniform fit by adapting to the shape of the helmet. The new triple foam layer (two layers + a 'NoSweat' anti-perspirant layer) provides more comfort. The final 'NoSweat' layer in microfiber absorbs moisture faster and prevents sweat from entering the glasses. The Prospect is compatible with the WORKS Roll-offs system, a clip-on mounting system that allows the rolls to be quickly attached to the holders without tools.
