Rockstar Husqvarna Factory riders on SLC2
With three riders in the top six, the Rockstar Energy-Husqvarna Factory Racing Team performed well in Salt Lake City. It even looked like Zach Osborne was going to take the win, but the former GP winner had to settle for third place. Here the team's riders talk about their SLC2 race.
Jason Anderson:
'My day certainly wasn't bad! In training I managed to record a second time and in the heat race I had quite a battle, resulting in third place. In the Main Event I had a good start and got caught in the first corner. I managed to get back to third place but later had to settle for fourth place after Tomac slipped past.”
Zach Osborne
“My Main Event was really good! I may have let a victory slip away, but in the end this gives me confidence for the coming matches. I felt good all day, the team vibe was unreal and we had a really fun day. The result was a good one for the team with Jason and Dean also in the top six! I'm very proud of what I accomplished and what the team accomplished tonight.”
Dean Wilson
“Everything felt so much better today. I was in a good mood all day, everyone in the team just had a good vibe and the bike was really great, Qualifying went really well and I felt like I rode well all day. It was a demanding race and the altitude definitely affected me but I finished sixth. I'm happy with that, it was a good fight with my best result of the season.”
Jalek Swoll
“I got off to a good start in the Main Event and was in the top five for a while. Later it became more difficult for me and I lost the right rhythm. I'm quite satisfied, I feel good and the riding is going well, so I'm looking forward to the last series of races. I want to score well in the last matches.”
