Osborne on missing the podium in SLC5
With a fourth place during Salt Lake City 5, Zach Osborne narrowly missed out on the podium. The American tells his story here and his three teammates also speak from the Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Zach Osborne:
“I came in fourth place, it's a decent result but after the last few races I want more! The past few months have been tough after my injury, but given the work I did last winter, I am of course pleased. I am a satisfied person, but of course I always want more and try to get the most out of it!”
Dean Wilson:
“I feel like my pace was decent throughout the Main and a few different line choices would have helped me throughout the race. I will watch the match again on the video. Other than that, I can't get too frustrated. I did my best and that's all you can do.”
Jason Anderson:
“In the final I had a great start and I went into the second corner in second position. Then things went completely wrong. I jumped on a tuff block and fell. Fortunately I was able to continue, but after a second fall my final was over. It's a shame that I couldn't finish, but at the same time there are a lot of positive things after this evening. The riding was good and the starts were as they should be. Now it's time to wrap it up, but we still have two games left and I'm already looking forward to it.”
Michael Mosiman:
'It was a tough day but it seemed to end well. I rode well and I thought I would get a podium place, but later in the final things went wrong. I got stuck in traffic and made some mistakes that really cost me a lot of time and later places. I'm disappointed to miss out on a podium finish, but I'm looking forward to the final of this championship. I expect to be able to end it in style.”
