McElrath not satisfied but motivated for the final
With a second and third place, Star Racing-Yamaha-Monster Energy did well at Salt Lake City 6. Still, Shane Mcelrath and his team manager Wil Hahn were not satisfied after the eighth round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship 250SX EastCoast. Both tell their stories here, just like Colt Nichols.
Wil Hahn:
“The final started very well for Shane but a small mistake made the difference today. We didn't have the intensity we needed to get the win. It's very plain and simple, we have to be better than this. Sunday will be exciting with the East-West Shootout, we will of course do everything we can to fight for championships.”
Shane McElrath:
“Man, second place isn't bad, but it's not good enough in this situation! I really needed a win tonight but unfortunately fell short. I was a bit behind the times all day, but I am motivated and I will definitely make a statement in the last match next Sunday.”
ColtNichols:
“Overall it was a good race, I was on the podium but my start was far too bad to be able to compete for the win. I also didn't have the intensity I needed, so I'm a little disappointed. I have another match on Sunday and I'm ready to compete with the boys in the shoot-out.”
