Learn to train like a pro with the Pro Moto X Bootcamp!
Working on your driving technique is one thing. Improving your fitness in a smart way is of course just as important, but so much more is needed to get the best out of yourself. The Pro Moto X Bootcamp will put this unique concept into practice for a second time this summer!
Sounds like a cool boot camp... But what is that actually?
“Learning to live and train like a professional is so much more than what people think at first glance. We want to give every motocross rider the opportunity to experience for themselves what it is like to live for your sport. Don't think about anything, just train, rest, eat and sleep,” explains the initiator-trainer David Cools from David Cools MX School out. Cools has a lot of experience in organizing internships and guiding motocross riders of all levels, from beginners to GP winners. With the Pro Moto X Bootcamp he responds to the wishes of riders who want to make more progress in a short time.
The first Pro Moto X Bootcamp last year was a great success. That formula is then repeated. “We have found the perfect location to completely immerse riders in the atmosphere of a boot camp: the BLOSO Sporthotel. Sportspeople from different disciplines come here for focused training or internships. We will spend the night and eat at the BLOSO Sporthotel in Herentals, which will be the 'Basecamp' of the Pro Moto X Bootcamp. From here we complete the running, cycling, MTB, swimming and strength/stability training.”
“The physical training and the right habits complete the picture, but of course there is also a good portion of motor training,” says Jilani Cambre, himself an amateur top rider in motocross and enduro, who, together with Cools, is the driving force and trainer of this new initiative. “On Wednesday and Thursday, MX training is scheduled on the rented circuit of MC Lille. We are sure that riders will learn a lot during this Bootcamp. I'm already really looking forward to this special week!”
