Ken Roczen tested positive for shingles!
The German has been fighting with himself lately and had to shelve his title ambitions after a series of poor results. Since Sunday, Roczen also knows why he could not compete with the top players because he tested positive for shingles.
Shingles – also sometimes called “zona” – is a contagious virus caused by the chickenpox virus. Ken Roczen: SLC 4 was slightly better. The speed is great and I feel pretty good on the bike. Two days is not enough to get everything back in order after a disaster race. As everyone knows, I have been dealing with the virus for a while and it also turned out that I tested positive for shingles last Sunday. I know everyone is sick of hearing it and so am I. Unfortunately, those are things I can't control. I can assure you that I am doing my part to live a healthy life and do everything I can control. Huge thanks to all my partners who have always supported me over the years and continue to support me.
