The Vlissingen beach cross will not take place in 2020!
In the autumn, the Vlissingen beach cross is traditionally on the calendar. And that has been the case for 34 years in a row, but not in 2020! However, this autumn it will remain quiet on the Vlissingen beach, the 35th edition will unfortunately have to wait longer due to the corona virus and all the questions that arise from it. in 2020.
The rules regarding Covid for the near future are too uncertain. What is possible and especially what is not. No one can answer too many questions at the moment. The 1.5 meter rule will almost certainly be maintained, which makes it impossible for MSV De Uitlaat to organize the event. The board of the organizing club expects that cross-country skiing will be possible again on the Vlissingen beach in the autumn of 2021.
