Cooper Webb on his duel with Tomac
It was a great battle between Cooper Webb and Eli Tomac at the thirteenth Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The victory in the Rice-Eccles Stadium went to Tomac, narrowly ahead of the KTM rider who tells his story here.
Cooper Webb:
“Of course it's a shame that I came second! Anyway, it was a fight from the first round to the last round. The conditions were difficult and the lappers were crazy, going from left to right across the circuit. It looked like I would do well in one lap and Tomac would do well in one lap. We were really pushing hard. It was a fun race, even though I got beat. We will try to win on Wednesday.”
