Cooper Webb on losing the title
Cooper Webb was unable to successfully defend the title. The KTM rider entered the final 22 points behind, but things went wrong in the first corner. Webb had to play catch-up and the season ended with an eighth place. In the final standings, Webb finished second behind Eli Tomac. Here on MXMag he tells his story about Salt Lake City 7.
Cooper Webb:
“It was a rough final! I just struggled a bit with the track all day. I didn't have my best race, but I still came back to eighth place. This put me second in the final standings. Of course I would have liked to be on the podium during this last competition. Overall it was a great season and we are now gearing up for the outdoor title.”
