Cooper Webb enjoyed himself during SLC4!
After a short duel with Ken Roczen, Cooper Webb managed to win again in Salt Lake City. The KTM rider thus rises to second place in the standings. The difference with leader Eli Tomac is now 26 points. The reigning champion tells his story here about the fourth final at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Cooper Webb:
“It was a great race, I took the holeshot and led every lap, which was the first time this season. Kenny rode very well in the beginning. I made a few mistakes and we fought for the lead for a while. I made a mistake but luckily I regained my focus and was able to take back the lead. I was then able to drive a number of laps freely and was able to build up a considerable lead. That of course gives a nice feeling and I especially enjoyed the second half of the match! I am happy with the victory.”
