Foreigners will soon be welcome again on Dutch circuits.
The decision to be allowed to travel to other countries within the EU from June 15 means that training in the Netherlands will again be possible for citizens from a number of Member States. Until then, the travel advice is code orange. Code yellow will be in effect from June 15, but only for KNMV license holders and exclusively for training.
It goes without saying that the reverse also becomes possible. Dutch people and pilots from other EU countries can then come and train in Belgium. The countries that admit citizens of other member states are Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Estonia, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
Denmark, the United Kingdom and Sweden will remain on code orange for the time being. A number of countries have yet to decide when to lift restrictions on tourists. These countries are expected to make a decision on this in the coming weeks. This concerns: France, Iceland, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Cyprus, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Malta, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia.
Many Belgians go to train in the north of France. It is important for them to keep a close eye on the travel advice from the government.
