Windham signed just one contract with Geico
During a podcast of 'The Steve Matthes Show', Kevin Windham said that he only signed one contract with Team Factory Connection-Honda-Geico. A two-year contract with Team Suzuki came to an end in 2002, after which 'K-Dub' briefly distanced himself from the sport.
For the 2003 AMA Motocross Series, the partnership between Windham and Team FC-Honda (Geico-Honda) began. A contract was signed and the collaboration lasted eight seasons! After the first contract, the agreements were discussed and then confirmed and adhered to with a simple handshake!
