CreyMert driver Avrie Berry about the lockdown
In Valkenswaard, Avrie Berry managed to get her first World Championship points for the FIM WMX World Championship. The American-born lives in Belgium and therefore experienced the lockdown here. The CreyMert Racing driver tells her story here.
“When the lockdown started, all circuits in Belgium were also closed. In fact, we are all now starting to train again as if we had had the winter break. That means a lot of cycling, going to the gym and of course running. Normally I have a schedule for all my training every week, but now I choose things based on my feeling and where I just have fun. This is working very well at the moment, I feel that my body is very good and strong at the moment. Now we can finally start riding again and motorcycle training is being resumed, it really feels so good! The only thing I have now after riding is back problems because it's been so long! I always have that after a long period of not being on the motorcycle.”
