Cake and Polestar will work more closely together
Polestar, the electric performance car brand, and CAKE, the electric motorcycle brand, are strengthening their partnership in Europe. The collaboration between the two young Swedish brands started in 2019, when the two CEOs noticed that they shared the same brand values.
Scandinavian design, electric power and a new look at marketing, brand experience and retail are some of the most important similarities. Both brands are also proud to work with one of the world's leading shock absorber manufacturers, Öhlins.
"Polestar feels connected to CAKE, we both believe in renaming performance and share a passion for design. Our ambition to create an electrified and emission-free future connects us,” says Polestar CEO, Thomas ingenlath.
CAKE was already present with its models at many Polestar events in 2019. In 2020, the collaboration between the two brands will expand to Polestar Spaces in Europe. Stefan Ytterborn, CEO of CAKE, explains: “The motorcycle industry is undergoing a similar shift to electrification as the automotive industry, and CAKE is leading the way. CAKE encourages people to explore with respect and builds high-tech engines with a beautiful design. "
CAKE will collaborate with the Polestar Spaces for events and customer interactions, giving both brands the opportunity to reach new audiences who recognize and value their shared beliefs.
