Successful Adrien Van Beveren support campaign completed!
At the end of March, Dakar specialist Adrien Van Beveren announced that he would give away his training motorcycle in a raffle in aid of the French Red Cross. A total of 4.218 people from 32 different countries took part in this campaign. A total of 36.565 euros was raised!
Like many other organizations, the French Red Cross is currently experiencing financial difficulties due to the corona crisis. The charity lottery was a great success.
“Many thanks to everyone who participated in this incredible show of support,” said the Monster Energy Yamaha rider. I must admit that I did not expect such success. We only owe this success to all of you! Amador Guitart from Spain won my bike, but for me the 4218 participants could be considered the winners, “It shows that we are all able to be united against this virus and that we will win together! You touched me with this positive attitude, thank you again!”
The tombola, which was originally scheduled to end on April 25, was eventually brought forward to April 6 because the French Red Cross needed immediate assistance. There is no doubt that the Red Cross will welcome this exceptional donation. Their appeal for donations was launched a few weeks ago. On the ground, the Red Cross around the world has already begun providing food aid and medical support to strengthen emergency medical services and hospital infrastructure. The well-known aid organization thus fulfills a historic role of aid and protection of the population, which it has fulfilled since 1863.
Those who were unable to participate in this raffle can still do so on the local Red Cross websites. More information about their activities or you can donate here:
