In Memoriam: Carel van Heugten
Former MAC Sint Christoffel chairman Carel van Heugten died on Easter Monday in Helmond from the consequences of the coronavirus. The Brabander is 78 years old. Under Van Heugten's decades-long leadership, motocross in Gemert grew from ONK to events at international level. He brought the 'Mini-GP' to the 'Wolfsbosch Circuit' for many years and co-organized the big team presentation at the start of the season at Unidek. In 2013, Van Heugten was appointed Member of the Order of Orange Nassau and honorary member of the MAC Sint Cristoffel! We wish the relatives a lot of strength!
