Van der Mierden is working on his recovery with JH-KTM
In the middle of last year, Sven van der Mierden broke his back during training at the Arnhem circuit. In recent months, the Brabander has worked hard to recover and that is going according to schedule. The physical training is going well and they have even made progress on the motorcycle. Standing behind the starting gate will take some time, in July there will be an operation to remove the last metal from his back. The goal is to return to competition afterwards and that will happen with the support of JH MX Service! A KTM SX450F is being prepared with which Van der Mierden can soon increase the training.
Sven van der Mierden's response: ''It has been a long road, but we are at the point where we can and are allowed to get back on our motorcycles. We're going to build quietly and then we'll see when I'm back behind the starting gate. This year will be used to get back up to standard so that we can run a full season again in 2021. I am very happy that Jan Heusschen supports me in this process. The equipment from JHMX Service is always in tip top condition and with his experience by my side, I can fully focus on driving. After not riding for so long, I'm looking forward to getting back to work."
